Meaning: I tried refers to Jesus teachings where in many cases Jesus would clarify the laws of Moses (i.e. Sabbath day)

Question: You are saying that you tried to do this as Jesus, which is why many Pharisees hated you?

Question: Why didn’t you correct Moses during his time since he was in direct communication with you- especially those laws whereby Moses said You said it - knowing that the things he said would have dire long-term consequences (i.e. status of women)

They were not ready for this. It would have been chaotic.

Question: You mean women were always regarded as being sub-standard, and both men and women were not ready for this change (gender equality).
